Durand, Santa Barbara California The Company
Founded in 1993, Durand Communications, Inc. (Durand) develops and markets an integrated suite of services and products for creating and supporting "virtual organizations" and "virtual communities." The company designs online corporate headquarters; shopping malls; stores; colleges, schools, corporate universities and other educational and training agencies; and professional associations.

Durand's "community building" tools allow individuals as well as these organizations to construct and operate communicating networks easily: these "communities" include realtime chat, asynchronous conferencing, and Web page construction, all of which can be created and operated by the company or the individuals involved.

Durand offers regular training in the use of their services and tools; provides a complete hosting service; and makes it unnecessary for organizations and individuals to divert funds and energy to developing and maintaining their own technology and service.

The company is comprised of 24 full-time employees strategically supported by six active board members. Durand's senior management come from the microcomputer, finance and distribution industries and have a wealth of experience and intimate knowledge of the information industry.
